Deputy Chief Scientist/HOD Labs
Molecular Biologist with over twenty five years hands on research and diagnostic experience. Research supervisor for molecular diagnostics and Real time PCR based detection of HBV, HCV HDV and other viruses. Also supervising research on genomics and cancer diagnosis. Supervision of labs and of all the services being provided in the labs including hematology, Biochemistry, Serology, Parasitology, Immunoassays, ELISA/EIA) and PCR labs. Moreover, advanced genetic testing like BRCA1 & BRCA2 for hereditary breast and ovarian cancers on NGS. Genomic testing is becoming increasingly important in personalized medicine. Research work on cancer genetics, diagnostics and molecular biology like micro-RNA are the main focus of research in our lab.
